Here, in one of the world’s most historic neighborhoods, the select components of the Special Edition Weekender arrive for assembly by our skilled technicians. Their meticulous attention to detail is visible throughout this stunning piece. From the hand painted custom color matched leather edges, to the precision cut and sewn body. Our team honors its craft by constructing a piece that is as timeless as it is modern.
DESIGN
Construction Is Key and we’ve constructed this bag to help you travel smarter. By designing a primary compartment with extended lock down “ears”, we have created something that, when unlocked, allows for an incredible amount of easy access to packed items – a feature not usually found in other designs.
Incredibly Capacious, the main compartment also contains a long, deep zippered pocket for securing more valuable or smaller items.
Modern Design Additionally there are two full length side compartments which separate items from the main compartment. Organize these as you see fit; whether it’s an iPad, a laptop, a journal or magazine, travel documents or a tennis racket – you will find many uses for these very convenient additional compartments.
COMPOSITION
Stunning & Sophisticated: Another defining feature
of the Zeman New York Weekender is the leather. Our mill in Italy has been producing the highest quality leather for more than 100 years, and never stopped seeking out new technologies to produce dynamic, inspiring and beautiful products. When we first saw their leather we knew at once this was a company that could give us what we were looking for both in terms of modernity and quality. The specialized coating and matte finish provides a luxurious feel, outstanding durability and unquestionable style.
Technical Approach: Other exceptional elements that comprise this piece are the Swiss made Riri zippers, known for their quality and proven history, along with outstanding high sheen, polished metal Italian hardware.
Durable Yet Lightweight: Of the many important factors we considered when designing the body of the bag several items stood out; we needed a fabric that was very resistant to wear and tears, water repellent and could maintain its appearance and shape over time. As the design evolved it became clear that for the utmost functionality and style a woven nylon technical fabric was the best choice for this piece.
FEATURES
Customizable: A fully adjustable and removable shoulder strap with a logo embossed leather shoulder pad provides comfort and flexibility, whether you carry your bag cross body or on the shoulder.
Hands Free: If you prefer to carry your bag without a shoulder strap, the perfectly sized handle drop also allows you to slip your arm through so the bag can be comfortably carried on the shoulder, maintaining easy access to the zippered pockets.

Originally conceived by our design team as a travel size laundry bag, we quickly realized that this piece had a lot more to offer!
Neatly tucked into its own pocket in the main compartment and measuring 17″x16″ this versatile piece, with locking drawstring and signature blue printed logo, can easily accommodate a pair of men’s or women’s shoes, or if you are headed to the beach, a full size beach towel, flip flops, oversized shades and lotion! Whatever you need.
